Pariah - Best Sports Car
When it comes to overall lap times, the Pariah is currently the best performing vehicle in GTA Online. Not only does it have one of the fastest top speeds when fully upgraded, but it also performs pretty well.
If you're looking for a car to zip around in, the Pariah could be a great choice. At $1,420,000, it is quite expensive. That's just for the basic, non-upgraded model as well. You can find the Pariah on the Legendary Motorsport website.

Turismo Classic - Best Sports Classic
Thankfully, the sports classic class is a little cheaper than the sports class. As a result, you can pick up the very best sports classic vehicle for $705,000.
The best sports classic is the Turismo Classic - this vehicle looks very similar to one of the old Ferrari vehicles, particularly the Ferrari F40. If you're a fan of older super cars then you'll love this in GTA Online.
When comparing its performance to similar cars, you'll find that the Turismo Classic has balanced acceleration, top speed, and control. It's actually one of the fastest sports classics available and offers far easier handling than other sports classics with similar speed.
Vigilante - Best Super Car
If you want to get the very best super car in GTA Online, you are going to have to fork out a lot of money. The Vigilante costs $3,750,000 and can be found on the Warstock Cache & Carry website.
You may notice that this vehicle has been heavily inspired by the Batmobile. Just like the real Batmobile, the Vigilante has a range of different gadgets.
Firstly, you can use rocket propulsion to boost it to high speeds in the blink of an eye. By default, the Vigilante has front-mounted machine turrets. You can also upgrade the Vigilante to feature missiles.
Overall, the Vigilante is very powerful, very fast, and unfortunately very expensive.
Contender - Best SUV
SUVs are a bit neglected in GTA Online. There are many SUVs but a lot of them don't really perform that well when it comes to racing.
Thankfully, the Contender is an outlier. This vehicle is surprisingly fast and easily outraces any other SUVs.
The Contender is also very sturdy, although not nearly as armored as something like the Kuruma. On the plus side, the Contender is big enough to pretty much knock most other vehicles straight off of the road.
The Contender does have a heavy oversteer, so keep that in mind when trying to race your way around tight turns and corners. The Contender costs $250,000 and can be found on the Southern San Andreas Super Autos website.
Yosemite - Best Muscle Car
The Yosemite doesn't look the type of car that could beat others in a race, but it can. In fact, the Yosemite is the fastest muscle car. Not only that, but it's very easy to control and fairly cheap to upgrade.
The Yosemite was only recently added as part of the Doomsday Heist. It will set you back $485,000 and you can purchase it from the Southern San Andreas Super Autos website.
It's not exactly the prettiest car in the world, so you may prefer to use the default one when playing muscle races and then save your cash for a better vehicle in a different class.
Shotaro - Best Motorcycle
There are many great motorcycles in GTA Online, but the absolute best cost a lot of money. If you can't afford the Shotaro, consider getting the Bati 801 - this $15,000 motorbike is actually only very slightly slower than the Shotaro.
If you can afford the very best, you may, however, prefer to put your money down on the $2,225,000 Shotaro.
Found on the Legendary Motorsport website, the Shotaro is quite clearly inspired by Tron. It's also the fastest bike in GTA Online and will beat other motorcycles in GTA races quite easily.
Be aware of the Hakuchou Drag, though - this vehicle is a millisecond slower than the Shotaro. In fact, you can pick up the Hakuchou Drag for $976,000, so if you only care about performance, you could save yourself $1.3 million and you'll still be able to compete in GTA races.
But when it comes down to it, we all know the Shotaro is the better-looking bike in the game.
Annis Elegy RH8 - Cheapest Car
If you're really struggling for money but still want a fast car that looks good, why not sign up to the Rockstar Social Club? You will be given the Annis Elegy RH8 for free. This vehicle is surprisingly good and comes in as the third best sports car.
The Annis Elegy RH8 is only just ever so slightly slower than the Pariah, which costs $1.4 million.
If you sold your Elegy RH8 in the past, don't worry. You can still get a new one by unlinking your Social Club account and relinking it.
Vagner
If you're really struggling for money but still want a fast car that looks good, why not sign up to the Rockstar Social Club? You will be given the Annis Elegy RH8 for free. This vehicle is surprisingly good and comes in as the third best sports car.
After Aston Martin launched their new Vulcan, it seemed like it was made for Grand Theft Auto. Surprisingly, Rockstar managed to create an almost 100% true to form version with their Dewbauchee Vagner. Like the GP1, the Vagner manages to top out around 132 miles-per-hour. This time, though, it also manages to get a faster lap time too. When it was first released in game, the Vagner was the swiftest car by far. The only downside, though, is its over $1.5 million price tag.
